SPOKANE VALLEY SEAHAWKERS

As a Club the Spokane Valley Sea Hawkers are known to have a lot of fun, even if it is our Charity Yard Sale, or helping the Seahawks with Play 60.  We always find a way to have a good time.

BUS TRIP 2013
SEAHAWKS VS TITANS

This years Bus Trip to Century Link was to the Titans Game.  The Seahawks have generated so much interest that this year we had to charter two buses.  We leave for Seattle early on Saturday morning and have a ton of fun on the bus ride over.  We hold a huge raffle with the proceeds going to local charities.  We give away a lot of Seahawk themed prizes, clothing, and usually a couple jerseys.  We also give away a number of on field passes.   Once we get there we have a roof deck party at the hotel where we stay. The hotel has a good breakfast to get us all recharged and ready for gameday.  We leave fairly early for the stadium so that everyone can take advantage of all that there is to do down there, lot's of bars, food and Seahawks gear vendors, and touchdown city.  After the game it's back on the bus to head home with a stop for food in North Bend and usually a movie or two for those who don't fall asleep.  A lot of the people who come with us say that the bus ride is as fun as the game.

This years yard sale was a huge success.  There was discussion that we may fall short of our goal due to a smaller amount of donations than we had recieved in past years.  As it turned out, we cleared over $1,500.00, which is our best year ever.  As always, the crew had fun? sorting and pricing all the goodies.  A big thank you to all those who donated their items or their time this year.   This years yard sale MVP was Less Bruess.  The Toad (frog) Award was passed on to him by last years recipient, Sue Haight.  we even put President Pat to work as a trash compactor in a pinch when we needed space.
